The Senior Financial Controller will work side-by-side with the Finance Director, helping to design and implement processes, controls, and reporting across the corporate entities. Key Responsibilities Partner with the Finance Director to build out the finance function, establishing robust systems, policies, and processes. Take ownership of corporate accounting (management accounts, tax, audit, and statutory reporting). Deliver accurate, insightful management information to the COO, FD, and wider leadership team. Support strategic projects such as supporting the implementation of an accounting system About You Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience. Background in hedge funds, alternatives, or broader asset management. Strong grounding in corporate accounting, with a hands-on mindset. Thrives in entrepreneurial environments where you can build, improve, and take ownership. Strong communicator who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders. Ambition to take on leadership and build a team in the medium term. The Opportunity This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented finance professional who wants to move beyond “maintenance mode” into a role where you can leave a lasting mark on how a hedge fund runs its finance function. You’ll get exposure to complex, global structures, work closely with senior leadership, and be positioned to step into a broader leadership role as the firm continues to grow.
