Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor to join our team at Helix Tools in Belmont, Durham. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support. You will handle inquiries and quotations and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills along with sales experience in the Engineering Industry.
Duties
* Receive enquiries from customers for a wide range of MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) products via phone, email or in person.
* Source those products from the most cost effective suppliers using team knowledge, historical data and internet research
* Quote the customer base in a timely manner
* Process subsequent sales orders received
* Manage the purchase orders required to meet the customer requirements, including expediting activity to ensure promised lead-times are met
* Deal with any customer or supplier queries that may occur
* Be point of contact for certain key customers and visit weekly to check stock and liase with buyers

* Assist customers with account-related questions and provide detailed information about our financial services.
* Resolve customer complaints efficiently and effectively, ensuring a positive experience.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using Salesforce.
* Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Conduct analysis of customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed assistance.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the financial services sector.
* Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
* Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
