Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor, the role of a grinder is to operate a variety of finish grinding machines, both CNC and Manual, to tight tolerances. Responsibilities:Maximise machine efficiency levelsRecord and maintain relevant documentationEnsure a good standard of housekeeping is maintained at all timesAny other tasks as requested by the Machine Shop Supervisor/Manager Skills and Experience:Time served in an engineering discipline Experience of working in a heavy manufacturing environment Have good communication skillsHave the ability to work on own initiative Be flexible when required The role is on a 2 shift pattern.07:00 - 15:30 (12:00 Friday)21:15 - 07:00 Please only apply if you would be flexible to work shifts.
