Overview
Work Area Manager role at Royal Mail.
Salary: £37,519 - £40,432 (dependent on experience), 10% bonus potential, 25 days annual leave and a generous pension scheme. Full time, Permanent. Location: Gatwick Mail Centre, Crawley, RH10 9AA.
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday 22:30 - 06:42.
Responsibilities
* Lead a dedicated team of full and part-time employees, hold regular one-to-one and team meetings, and review the area’s performance and plans daily.
* Champion health and safety initiatives, increase efficiency, and identify areas for improvement.
* Support the Shift Manager by providing a high quality of service to customers and ensuring operational targets are met.
* Take line management responsibility for your team’s attendance, sickness absence, training and development, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
