Overall job purpose
To play a key role in delivering reactive assignments across a diverse client base. This includes being a lead consultant in investigations and linked assignments. The role involves working independently or in teams, and acting as an ambassador for RSM as a trusted professional fraud advisor. The candidate should have experience in criminal investigations related to fraud and financial crime, providing services to a variety of clients and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as the role may require undertaking reactive investigations as per operational needs.
Responsibilities
The post holder will ensure high-quality service delivery, including timely fraud investigations to a criminal standard, case file production, and court presentations. Responsibilities include client support, adhering to procedures and policies, managing investigations, attending client meetings, and possibly traveling. The candidate must be ACFS qualified and willing to undergo security clearances. Specific duties include:
* Maintaining high standards of service and compliance
* Managing multiple investigations efficiently
* Presenting cases in court
* Supporting clients and participating in additional projects
* Traveling as required
Essential qualifications and skills
* ACFS qualification
* Experience in fraud prevention, detection, or investigations
* Experience managing criminal proceedings
* Ability to handle multiple investigations
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Client-focused, flexible, and able to work independently
* Knowledge of fraud and bribery legislation
* Proficiency in IT and office software
* Team player with strong relationship-building skills
* Willingness to travel and work unsupervised
Desirable qualifications
* PIP Level 2 Investigator or equivalent
* Full driving license with own vehicle
