The Role
As aLead Generation Specialist, you’ll play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities and managing your own portfolio of existing clients.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is confident, driven, commercially minded, and eager to build a successful career in sales. PreviousB2B sales experienceis highly desirable, and experience within theutilities or energy sectoris required.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong communication skills, resilience, confidence in handling objections, and the motivation to work in a target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prospect and generate new business opportunities
* Build and manage your own portfolio of clients
* Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell from our service offering
* Gather and analyse customer and market information
* Secure bill authorisations and customer approvals
* Handle objections confidently and turn them into opportunities
* Maintain accurate and compliant customer records
* Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline
* Work closely with Senior Closing Specialists to ensure smooth lead progression
* Respond professionally to inbound phone and email enquiries
* Achieve and exceed KPIs and performance targets
* Represent the business professionally at all times
* Attend training and development sessions as required
What We’re Looking For
* Previous outbound telesales experience, ideally withinenergy or utilities
* Minimum6 months’ telesales experiencein aB2Benvironment
* Ideally6 monthto1 year of B2B sales experience
* A confident and professional telephone manner
* Excellent communication, persuasion, and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Good IT skills and computer literacy
* Professional, punctual, and well-presented
* Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn
* Able to perform under pressure and consistently meet KPIs

* Negotiable salary, depending on experience
* Uncapped commission up to 20%

* Working hours:Monday to Thursday:09:00 – 17:00Friday early finish:15:00, or 13:00 if on target/run rate
