Responsibilities
* Manage referrals within the Mood and Anxiety Pathway.
* Conduct mental health assessments and routinely measure clinical outcomes.
* Deliver evidence‑based interventions aligned with the CY‑IAPT programme and CYPMHS.
* Promote the mental and emotional well‑being of children, young people and families.
* Undertake initial school‑based and community‑based assessments.
* Provide early interventions for children and young people experiencing emotional and psychological difficulties.
* Assess and develop care plans to meet complex needs.
Referral Pathways and Conditions Treated
* Mood and anxiety disorders
* Behavioural and conduct disorders
* Emerging personality and attachment disorders
* Psychotic disorders
* Deliberate self‑harm and suicidal ideation
* Substance misuse with co‑existing mental health needs (dual diagnosis)
* Autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) with co‑occurring mental health needs
* Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) with co‑occurring mental health needs
* Neurodevelopmental disorders
* Prolonged bereavement problems
Qualifications
* Graduate‑qualified health professional: Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist, Systemic Family Therapist or Clinical Psychologist.

Tunbridge Wells, Kent – part of the National Children's and Young People's Mental Health Service (CYPMHS) within the North East London, Essex, Kent and Medway area.
