Wood are recruiting for an Archive Operative to join our Digital Operations Team. This role will be on a 12 month FTC based in our Hull office. We are open to applications from candidates seeking either full time or part time work.
The Role
Our Archive Operative's are in charge of undertaking effective storage, movement and control of all materials to support the business. Liaising with the Document Control team, user groups, third parties and clients to ensure that all materials are marshalled and shipped in accordance with company procedures and internal controls. This role would be ideal for someone with experience in material management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Typical responsibilities
* Compliance with Wood Supply Chain procedures
* Retrieving and delivering records/boxes from the correct locations
* Issuing records, tracking and managing the return issued records
* Support in scanning confidential documentation
* Checking, segregation and storing of records and boxes accurately
* Control of archive materials between different work locations
* Interfaces with suppliers, where appropriate to resolve issues
* Conduct cycle counts and stock takes
* Ensure all schedules and deadlines are adhered to
* Coordinate deliveries with stakeholders
* Producing delivery documents for all material movements
* Conduct basic maintenance and preservation on stored materials & equipment, as directed by supervisor / line manager, ensuring good housekeeping of archive units
* Coordinate the collecting and issue of materials as per rota and project schedule, as directed by supervisor / line manager.
* Assure material deliveries aligned to meet requested dispatch schedules
* Identification and disposal of surplus materials
* Control of returned materials & equipment.
* Indexing documents to predefined client requirements
* Always ensuring security and confidentiality of data
* Understands and lives Woods vision, values and behaviors.
* Other tasks as directed bythe line manager.

Expected:
* Experience in a similar role
* Clean UK Driving License
* A broad understanding of archiving processes, warehouse practices, manual handling and QHSE would be beneficial
* Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of tools
* Forklift License / experience
