Are you the go‑to fixer who finds the real “why” behind every alarm? If tracking down faults, running a quick 5 Why, and returning a molding cell to spec sounds like your kind of challenge, this role is for you. Join us at Flexan in Lincolnshire, IL (500 Bond St, 60069) and keep our cleanroom molding and extrusion operations humming. Imagine this scenario The line throws a nuisance alarm at 6:15 pm. You arrive, review the last changeover record, verify tooling and auxiliary settings, check continuity with a megohmmeter, and isolate the issue to a sensor wiring fault. You adjust, document, and communicate the lesson learned to the next shift — all before the next cycle completes. That’s the pace and ownership we value. What you’ll tackle Perform scheduled material changeovers on liquid‑injection molding equipment and complete end‑to‑end set‑ups for molding, extrusion, and auxiliaries. Keep every setup traceable — precise paperwork for tooling, machine adjustments, and process parameters. Diagnose alarms, minimize downtime, and make targeted process adjustments; recommend tooling or machine repairs when needed. Initiate root‑cause investigations for significant equipment failures and brief the Maintenance Manager on findings. Calibrate equipment to maintain processes within specified ranges. Use ohmmeters, voltmeters, and megohmmeters to validate electrical safety and circuit continuity. Manage maintenance work orders end‑to‑end and share best practices across shifts. Protect people and product: follow cleanroom attire and contamination controls while upholding safety, process control, and housekeeping standards. Collaborate with professionalism and help the team meet Flexan’s productivity and quality goals.
