Job Title: Administration Assistant (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Location: Carno, SY17 5LG (Own transport essential)

Contract Type: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

Hours: 30–40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm (flexible)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join our small office in Carno. This is a varied role with plenty of opportunity to get involved in different areas of the business. You will support day-to-day administrative operations and provide essential support to colleagues, managers, clients, and suppliers.

We require a minimum of 30 hours per week, but full-time hours (up to 40 per week) are available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

* Act as a first point of contact for depot managers, staff, clients, and suppliers by phone and email
* Order office supplies, staff uniforms, printer consumables, and other materials
* Assist in the preparation and management of shipping and delivery documents
* File and organise invoices and key documentation
* Process invoices and support basic bookkeeping tasks
* Support with stock control and produce stock analysis reports
* Provide general administrative support to the wider team as needed

Skills & Experience Required

We're looking for someone with a professional and flexible attitude, who can take initiative and manage a varied workload. Ideal candidates will have:

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to engage confidently with internal and external contacts at all levels
* Accurate data entry and transcription skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook)
* Understanding of basic bookkeeping or accounts (AAT Level 1 or 2 desirable)
* Familiarity with databases and spreadsheets
* Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
* Willingness to learn accounting software (full training provided)
* Commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times
* A collaborative, team-oriented approach and willingness to provide cover when needed
