What are we looking for?

Job Title: Agriculture Planning Co-ordinator

Reports to: Agriculture Planning Manager


About the role:

This role involves planning, coordinating, and supporting rearing operations and agricultural administration. It requires close collaboration with internal teams, external customers, and contractors to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Production & Sales Coordination: Support planning and sales of approximately 4 million laying hens annually, manage farm cycles, and communicate depletion dates.
2. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain liaison with customers and respond to stakeholder queries, coordinate contractor activities.
3. Order Processing & Documentation: Manage chick orders, process purchase orders, raise invoices, and distribute passports.
4. Data & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, collate data, and monitor stock levels.
5. Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
6. General Support: Perform ad-hoc tasks as required by the leadership team.


Shared Responsibilities:

1. Health & Safety: Follow policies, report hazards, participate in training.
2. Social & Environmental: Minimise environmental impact, support sustainability initiatives.


About You:


Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

* Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
* Excellent communication, record keeping, and data presentation skills.
* Basic financial skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and multitasking ability.
* Problem-solving and proactive approach.

* Collaborative, responsible, courageous, action-oriented, respectful, and eager to learn.


Key Stakeholders:

* Farm team, external contractors, and producers.
