Join Our Team as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist Moray

Location: Glassgreen Centre, Linkwood Medical Practice, Elgin
Hours: 20 per week
Contract: Permanent

Are you passionate about helping people live their best lives? An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Moray Occupational Therapy Service as a Band 6 OT specializing in community rehabilitation.

1. Deliver goal-focused, time-specific rehabilitation for adults (18+) including palliative care.
2. Work in diverse settings from patients homes to virtual sessions ensuring person-centred care.
3. Be part of a multidisciplinary team embedded across Moray, with opportunities to maintain acute skills through work at Dr Grays Hospital.

What Youll Do

4. Triage and assess patients promptly to set meaningful goals that maximize independence.
5. Supervise support staff and mentor colleagues while receiving robust clinical supervision.
6. Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
