Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance, and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programs aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
You will provide support to the designer by completing tasks that complement the final design for the construction stage and the successful completion of projects.
We need you to understand network maps and plans to identify assets in relation to public and private ownership, and ensure compliance with all CDM, Health & Safety, and environmental regulations.
You will demonstrate an understanding of other utilities and environmental factors affecting the selection and installation of water network assets. You will liaise internally with departments, clients, and third parties to ensure tasks are completed using the most cost-effective methods and in a timely manner.
You may be responsible for tasks and/or small projects, with flexibility to move between workstreams. You might also hold specific responsibilities or expertise in investigation processes, CAD, construction methods, safe systems of work, and other technical areas, making this role a key contributor to the design process.
What you’ll bring
* Hold an A level or BTEC National qualification
* Proven experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with AutoCAD 2D / GIS software
* Prior experience and understanding of water hydraulic network systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
