About The Role
A Waking Nights Domiciliary Care Assistant provides overnight support for a client with dementia in Eastbourne. This one‑to‑one role involves reassurance, safety, and attentive care throughout the night.
Responsibilities
* Provide overnight support to a client with dementia
* Monitor wellbeing and ensure a safe environment
* Assist with personal care if required
* Offer reassurance and companionship during periods of wakefulness
* Keep accurate care records
Qualities and Experience
* Experience supporting individuals with dementia
* Approach that is calm, patient, and compassionate
* Reliable and confident working independently at night
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
* Right to work in the UK
Benefits
* £12.80 – £14.00 per hour (dependent on qualifications)
* Paid travel time between visits
* 45p per mile mileage
* Consistent night shifts (10pm–7am)
