Job Title : Personal Assistant Reports to: Executive Personal Assistant (PA) Location: Manchester Job Type: Full-time The Project Equitix Management Services Limited (EMS) provides management services to Cascade Infrastructure Limited (CIL), a project company with Equitix, STRABAG and GLIL as shareholders, that has been appointed by United Utilities (UU) to deliver the Haweswater Aqueduct Resilience Programme (HARP). HARP is a multi-billion-pound infrastructure project to upgrade the water supply apparatus carrying water from the Haweswater reservoir to Greater Manchester. The project involves the construction of approximately 50km of bored tunnels along the existing 110km aqueduct, originally built in the 1950s. Post-construction, UU will operate the aqueduct, with the CIL responsible for major maintenance of the new tunnel sections for 25 years. Role Overview Highly organised and professional Personal Assistant to support the Executive PA and the wider business, delivering a major infrastructure project in the North West. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large and supportive team and be part of a major infrastructure delivery programme with long-term career potential The role requires a proactive individual with proven experience supporting senior directors or executive leadership, who can balance competing priorities with discretion, accuracy, and efficiency. Sills & Experience Proven experience as a Personal Assistant at a senior level. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity. Ability to work independently while supporting a busy team. Principal Responsibilities Support team members as required and directed by the Executive PA. Co-ordinate travel arrangements, logistics, and itineraries. Prepare agendas, reports, and board packs, ensuring documentation is accurate and distributed in good time. Arrange and attend meetings where required, capturing actions and ensuring follow-up. Act as a point of contact where required, handling calls, correspondence, and emails with professionalism. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing the executive office to the highest standard. Manage confidential information with absolute discretion. Support with the co-ordination of key events, workshops, and leadership sessions. Undertake general administration to support the effective delivery of executive priorities. Support with document control activities when peak volumes are experienced.
