Tasks and Qualifications:
Principal Accountabilities
* Carry out AMHE equipment servicing in accordance with quality standards and schedules
* Undertake scheduled repairs following manufacturer recommendations
* Diagnose and repair Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, PLC, and PC faults
* Prioritize system faults
* Comply with Health & Safety legislation
* Ensure quality of output
* Accurately record all work
* Participate in continuous improvement and sales opportunities
* Maintain product flow
* Manage on-site spares levels
* Represent the company professionally and maintain customer relations
* Adhere to Quality procedures
Knowledge & Experience Required
* ONC or equivalent in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering (electrical preferred)
* Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship (preferred)
* Understanding of technical manuals & drawings
* Basic control systems & PLC knowledge
* Experience with conveyor systems
* PC literacy
* Understanding of preventive maintenance schedules
Technical Competencies
* Ability to learn and retain technical information
* Ability to read technical drawings
* Logical fault-finding approach
* Operate within pre-planned maintenance structures
