On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Clinical Negligence Paralegal on a full-time, permanent basis, based in Exeter.
The Role:
Your responsibilities will include opening, closing, and archiving client files, using the firm’s IT systems and packages, liaising with clients and other parties on behalf of lawyers, and handling emailed or telephone enquiries as appropriate.
You will also be responsible for document production, case management, and assisting lawyers with administrative tasks.
Candidate Requirements:
* Confident in communicating with clients
* Comfortable providing clients with necessary information when lawyers are engaged elsewhere
* Literate and numerate, with excellent communication skills, well-organized, and attentive to detail
* Ability to work independently and under supervision, with a proactive attitude, adaptable to task requirements
Applicants should have a Law Degree, with previous legal experience preferred or the ability to demonstrate a genuine interest in Clinical Negligence work.
