Job Description
As Technical Sales Manager, you will manage and grow customer relationships, provide technical guidance, and support both UK and European sales activity. The role combines business development, customer support, and commercial negotiation, with regular travel within Europe.Key Responsibilities
3. Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers
4. Selling Graphite-based solutions used in energy, chemical, pharmaceutical, electronics, and process industries
5. Provide timely, in‑depth technical advice and support
6. Negotiate order terms within agreed delegation limits
7. Submit accurate CRM visit reports and participate in sales reviews
8. Work closely with internal teams to deliver effective customer solutions
9. Support sales targets and overall commercial performance
10. Travel across Europe to assist affiliate teams and support growth objectives
The Successful Applicant
A successful Sales Manager should have:
11. Background in materials (graphite) or glass production is advantageous
12. Degree‑level education or equivalent experience
13. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
14. A strong background in sales within the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
15. Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
16. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
17. Strategic thinking and the ability to identify growth opportunities.
18. Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
19. A results-driven approach with a focus on achieving targets.
