We are currently seeking a Stores Manager to join a rapidly growing, family-run SME. This role is based at their manufacturing site in North Wales. As a Stores Manager you will make sure that the goods bought into stores are fully checked off and delivered to factory in a timely manner.
Key duties and responsibilities....
1. Ensure all product is available, picked and ready for production plan start date.
2. Place purchase orders
3. Expedite suppliers managing acknowledgment process
4. Ensure deliveries match delivery note & PO and are booked in within 24hrs
5. Organise restocking of consumable and stock managed items. Incl. non production items e.g. welfare consumables, packaging etc.
6. Manage service providers e.g. skips, FLT gas, pallets etc.
7. Using Kefron to resolve invoice queries
8. Update/Recommend RTIS product database.
9. Checking and maintaining FSC PEFC stock control systems
10. Ensure monthly rolling stock takes happen.
11. Ensure paperwork errors (POs RTIS etc) are escalated
12. Recommend on standard/non standard stock items
13. Maintain safe & organised storage and work areas including information systems (eg visual display etc).
14. Manage Loading/unloading products & the movement of stock
15. Deputising for Department Manager in their absence
