Duties as a SEND Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of SEND learners Differentiate learning materials and adapt teaching strategies to suit individual abilities Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports social and emotional development Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to support progress Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and reports Ideal SEND Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Proven experience working with children with special educational needs Strong communication, empathy, and behaviour management skills as a SEND Teacher.
