Main Responsibility

* Plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality employability programmes tailored to adults with language needs (English Speakers of Other Languages- ESOL), including those settling in the UK through resettlement schemes.
* Develop accessible, engaging learning materials that help learners build confidence, job‑seeking skills, digital capability and awareness of workplace expectations.
* Support learners to prepare for employment through CV development, interview skills, job‑search techniques, and understanding UK workplace culture.
* Carry out robust initial assessments to identify learners' starting points, strengths, barriers and aspirations.
* Use Recording And Recognising Progress and Achievement (RARPA) processes to set individual learning goals, monitor progress and evidence achievement.
* Work in partnership with the Resettlement Team, employment brokers, employers, community organisations and referral partners to support learner progression and widen participation.
* Maintain accurate learner data, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, audit processes, safeguarding procedures and quality standards.
* Contribute to continuous quality improvement, curriculum development and service‑wide Skills for Life initiatives.
* Create a welcoming, inclusive and supportive learning environment that motivates and empowers learners.

You'll need:

* A recognised teaching qualification.
* Experience delivering employability, skills‑based or adult learning programmes, or strong transferable experience from training, employability support, coaching or community development.
* Good understanding of the barriers faced by adults entering or re‑entering the labour market, including migrants, refugees and those with limited English.
* Strong digital skills and confidence using online tools to enhance teaching, learning and assessment.
* Excellent communication, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and build trust with learners.
* A flexible, collaborative and learner‑centred approach to supporting diverse adults towards positive outcomes.

Above all, you will bring enthusiasm, compassion and a genuine commitment to helping adults gain the skills, confidence and knowledge they need to succeed in employment and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
