Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing civil engineering business seeking an organised and proactive Business Support & Development Coordinator to work closely with the Managing Director.
This is a key role supporting business growth, client engagement, and day-to-day operations. You will act as a central coordination point across the business, ensuring follow-ups are managed, communication is clear, and opportunities are progressed.
Key Responsibilities
* Support business development activity and client follow-ups
* Assist with tenders, PQQs, and commercial tracking
* Manage social media and support marketing activity
* Coordinate internal updates and reporting
* Support HR and recruitment processes
* Help improve office systems and ensure actions are completed
Candidate Profile
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident communicator with a professional approach
* Able to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through
* Good IT skills (Microsoft Office essential)
* Experience in admin/business support/coordination role
* Construction/civil engineering experience beneficial but not essential
