Your new role
As Finance Officer within the Financial Accounting Services team, you will support the day-to-day operations of financial accounts, including Charitable Trust Funds and Patient’s Private Property. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Maintaining petty cash and catering department floats
2. Processing patient travel expenses and liaising with external agencies
3. Managing safe registers and controlled stationery
4. Certifying remittance advice forms and processing manual cheque payments
5. Handling receipts, payments, reconciliations, and credit card transactions
6. Supporting financial reporting, audits, and year-end processes
7. Assisting with system uploads, journals, andernance checks
8. Providing financial analysis and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
9. Previous experience in a finance or accounts environment
10. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (, Oracle or similar)
12. Excellentmunication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
14. Amitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to financial policies
