Parenting Support Worker
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parenting Support Worker in children's services.
The post is full time, based at Darby House, Lawn Central, Telford with some home working.
The post holder will support parents and carers in developing positive parenting strategies, improving family relationships, and enhancing outcomes for children and young people. They will support the birth parents of children who are cared for, they will bridge the gap between the Local Authority and birth parents ensuring that they have the best possible relationships with their children and that these arrangements are revisited as a continuum.
Here at Telford and Wrekin Council, we have been judged to be outstanding overall in terms of effectiveness (the only Authority in the West Midlands with this judgement) for the second time
