About the Role
We are seeking a skilled, and motivated Hearing Care Assistant to join our team. This is a patient‑facing role supporting both NHS and private patients across multiple clinic locations. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organised, and confident working in a busy clinical environment. You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality aftercare, troubleshooting hearing aids, and supporting audiologists in day‑to‑day operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide aftercare for hearing aids, including cleaning, re‑tubing, minor repairs, and troubleshooting.
* Educate patients on correct use, maintenance, and expectations.
* Deliver empathetic, patient‑centred support to help patients adjust to hearing aids.
* Maintain accurate patient records and follow data protection requirements.
* Manage clinic stock and equipment, ensuring everything is organised and ready for use.
* Work collaboratively with audiologists and support smooth clinic operations.
Qualifications & Skills
* Hearing Care Assistant qualification (University Certificate or equivalent)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Basic computer literacy
* Commitment to delivering patient‑centred care
Preferred Skills
* Wax removal qualification
* Experience in customer‑facing or clinical environments
* Familiarity with clinical or office software
* Valid UK driving licence (location dependent)
* Ability to work independently in a clinical setting
