Senior Authorised Person – Data Centre Project – London – ASAP start – Day rate, outside IR35 – Monday to Friday We are supporting a leading engineering contractor delivering critical infrastructure for a major data centre client. They are looking to appoint an experienced Energy Marshal to join a live project in London, with a clear pathway onto a follow on scheme. You will act as the senior HV authority on site, responsible for control of energy, switching operations, and safe energisation of a complex substation feeding a large scale data centre. Key Responsibilities: Lead HV safety and act as the authorised person for control of energy Plan and execute switching operations and energisation activities Oversee safe systems of work and ensure compliance with site procedures Coordinate with client teams, utility providers, and internal delivery teams Manage shutdowns and power distribution into the data centre Support ongoing site operations during final project phases Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Authorised Person Strong background working on data centre or similar critical infrastructure projects Experience with 66kV systems and downstream distribution GIS experience essential Ideally 132kV authorised (or working towards) Strong communication skills and ability to operate in high-pressure environments Contract details: 12 month contract, outside IR35 Monday – Friday ASAP start Long term pipeline of work with a major data centre client Opportunity to transition onto a 132kV project If you are an experienced SAP looking for your next contract within a fast paced data centre environment, please apply or get in touch for more details.
