What You’ll Be Doing
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students across a range of subjects and year groups. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing in-class support to help students engage with lessons and stay on task
* Assisting with small group activities to reinforce learning and build confidence
* Supporting students who may be falling behind or need extra help to grasp key concepts
* Working closely with teaching staff to adapt resources and differentiate tasks when needed
* Promoting positive behaviour, focus, and a love of learning
* Helping to maintain an organised and inclusive classroom environment
Is This Role Right for You?
This role would suit someone who is:
* A recent graduate (2:1 or above) in a relevant subject such as English, Maths, Science, Psychology, or Education
* Passionate about supporting young people and making a difference in their school experience
* Considering a future career in teaching, education, or youth work
* Patient, reliable, and confident working with secondary-aged students
* A clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude
* Experienced working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, coaching, volunteering)
