Salary: £55,000 per annum.

Role Overview
Lecturer in Accounting & Finance in the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexibility required to teach during weekdays, evenings and at weekends.
Responsibilities
* Planning, delivering and assessing student work to meet learning outcomes.
* Developing, updating and improving course materials.
* Using a variety of teaching methods and materials.
* Actively engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties.
* Keeping up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices.
* Working toward clearly defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable).
* Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area.
* Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
* Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
* Accurate reporting and maintaining thorough and organised student records.
* Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
* Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
Desirable
* Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent).
* Experience designing/developing academic or professional education programmes or equivalent.
