Recovery Case worker Full time, temp work. Middlesbrough, UK. £15.58 ph. Spencer Clarke Group are seeking multiple case workers on behalf of one of our clients, within the Middlesbrough area. As a Recovery Case Worker, you'll work directly with individuals facing multiple and overlapping challenges-such as homelessness, domestic abuse, substance misuse, and related mental and physical health needs. Many of the people you'll support will find it difficult to engage with traditional services, and your role will be to bridge that gap. What you will do: Manage a caseload of individuals with multiple, complex needs. Conduct assessments and co-develop support plans with service users. Deliver tailored interventions, including motivational interviewing and solution-focused techniques. Work proactively and flexibly to engage individuals in ways that suit them. Coordinate with a range of agencies to provide wraparound support. Assess and manage risk, safeguarding, and crisis response as needed. Support service users to achieve sustainable outcomes, including stable housing and reduced risk. What we're looking for: Proven experience working with vulnerable and complex individuals. Strong understanding of issues related to homelessness, domestic abuse, and substance misuse. Ability to deliver evidence-based interventions in a trauma-informed way. Skilled in multi-agency working and crisis response. Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (business insurance required).
