Your role
As a Cyber Security Consultant, you’ll work as a trusted authority, delivering secure solutions and providing a security consulting capability to our clients. You’ll have opportunities to be involved in the full range of pre- and post-sales security consulting activities across one or more of the following areas:
* Risk assessment and risk management
* Operational Technology (OT) or Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
* Data management and storage (e.g., Data Loss Prevention or Rights Management)
* Audit event recording and analysis
* Cloud or network security, securing mobile data and devices
* Secure applications – architecture, software development, testing and various forms of compliance
Your Skills And Experience
You will be comfortable working alone or as part of a team, with tangible experience in one or more of the following:
* Implementing secure solutions
* Delivering consulting services or applying business development skills in relation to security
* Balancing security risk against usability, agility, and cost
* Designing secure solutions or devising business cases or roadmaps for security improvements or transformation
Your security clearance
To be appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements. Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked about your security clearance eligibility such as country of residence and nationality. Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons.
