This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a mature, capable individual who takes pride in high standards, understands operational flow, and is confident taking initiative and responsibility when needed.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on operational leadership role combining warehouse coordination, quality control, dispatch management, and team support. You will act as a senior presence on the warehouse floor, ensuring efficiency, organisation, and accuracy across daily operations, while stepping into supervisory responsibilities when required.
This role is ideal for someone with solid warehouse experience who wants to progress into a more senior, trusted position without leaving practical operations behind.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational & Fulfilment
* Oversee picking, packing, labelling, and dispatch with 100% accuracy standards
* Coordinate stock preparation and readiness for domestic and international shipping
* Perform quality control checks across packing and production stages
* Manage damaged stock, repairs, or disposal processes
* Operate forklift safely to move and organise goods
* Prepare pallets and shipments, including documentation where required
Systems & Organisation
* Maintain stock records and workflow tracking using Microsoft Excel
* Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with stock checks
* Identify discrepancies, errors, or inefficiencies and resolve proactively
* Support stock rotation, storage optimisation, and aisle organisation
Facility & Standards
* Maintain clean, safe, and efficient working areas
* Coordinate recycling, waste removal, and general upkeep
* Support shared facility responsibilities including communal areas
Leadership & Team Support
* Step in to supervise operations when team leaders are unavailable
* Guide team members to maintain productivity and quality standards
* Help prioritise workloads during busy periods
* Communicate clearly, professionally, and constructively
Essential Requirements
* Proven warehouse, fulfilment, or logistics experience
* Valid forklift licence
* Confident Microsoft Excel user (formulas such as SUM, IF, COUNTIF)
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Physically capable of lifting up to 18kg safely
* Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
* Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
* Ability to work independently and maintain focus
Highly Desirable
* Previous supervisory or team-lead responsibility (formal or informal)
* Shipping, logistics, or dispatch system experience
* Familiarity with inventory or stock-tracking systems
* Mechanical or hand-tool competence
* IATA or Dangerous Goods knowledge
* Experience operating warehouse machinery or labelling equipment
