Job Purpose
We have an exciting opportunity for a People Administrator to join our People Team within a UK-based multidisciplinary property business. This role is ideal for a highly organised and people-focused professional who is eager to gain broad exposure across all areas of HR.
The People Administrator plays a key role in delivering a positive employee experience while ensuring HR processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with company policies and employment legislation.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with a mixture of office and home working, with regular travel to our Cambridge and London office. Some travel around our national network of offices (Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, London, Cardiff) will also be required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in line with UK GDPR requirements
* Prepare People documentation including employment contracts, offer letters, variations, confirmations, and reference letters.
* Manage and update the HRIS and People databases
* Support recruitment activity across the business
* Liaise with hiring managers to support smooth and timely recruitment processes
* Coordinate onboarding and induction for new starters, ensuring all right-to-work checks and documentation are completed in line with UK legislation
* Coordinate exit interviews and exit processes
* Assist with the preparation and collation of monthly payroll information, including starters, leavers, absence, and changes.
* Support the administration of company benefits, pensions, and insurance schemes
* Administration of the company car fleet, including vehicle records, MOTs, road tax, insurance documentation, and related compliance requirements
* Assist in maintaining and updating People policies and procedures
* Produce People reports and metrics for the management team
* Provide general administrative support to the wider People Team
* Support performance review, probation, and appraisal processes
Person Specification
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Previous experience in a People Administrator role desirable
* High level of discretion and professionalism
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) or relevant experience desirable
