📱 Social Media Lead (Organic)
📍 Hybrid – 3 days in Office, South London
About the Role
Looking for a Social Media Lead for a retail brand to take full ownership of organic social strategy for a growing, design-led brand. Sitting within the Brand & Content team and reporting into the Head of Brand & Content, you’ll lead the organic social function, focusing on strategy, performance, and growth, rather than hands-on content creation. You’ll be supported by a wider content and production team, giving you the opportunity to focus on what really matters: driving engagement, audience growth, and brand impact across channels.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Owning and delivering the organic social strategy, aligned to brand and commercial objectives
* Setting and delivering against key KPIs including awareness, reach, engagement, and audience growth
* Leading and developing a small team of 2
* Using data, insights, and analytics tools to monitor performance and drive continuous optimisation
* Identifying high-performing content formats and refining channel strategies
* Translating performance data into clear, actionable recommendations
* Monitoring platform trends, algorithm updates, and competitor activity
* Managing organic social budgets
* Ensuring all output aligns with a premium, curated brand aesthetic
* Driving growth opportunities, including developing Pinterest and building out TikTok over time

What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a social media role with ownership of strategy and performance
* A strong track record of growing organic social channels (reach, engagement, community)
* Deep understanding of platform algorithms, trends, and what drives performance
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear insights and actions
* Experience managing or mentoring a small team
* A strong eye for visual storytelling and brand-led social content
* Background in retail, fashion, or lifestyle brands is beneficial, but not essential, the key is someone who is passionate about social and understands both creative and performance.
