We are recruiting a full time or part time bookkeeper for a well-established construction company based in Wakefield.
Key Responsibilities:
* Recording and reconciling invoices, payments, and bank transactions.
* Processing subcontractor invoices, CIS deductions and returns.
* Ensuring the correct application of VAT and the VAT Reverse scheme.
* Assisting with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
* Supporting payroll processes with the external provider.
* Assisting with financial reports.
About the Role:
* Experience in bookkeeping or accounts.
* Knowledge of CIS, VAT, and payroll processes.
* Proficiency with Sage 50 and MS Excel.
* Detail-focused, organised, and confident working to deadlines.
