We’re excited to be recruiting a Machine Operator on behalf of our client, a friendly, supportive, and growing company based near Leiston.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to learn, technically minded, and enjoys practical, hands-on work to join their expanding team. Whilst previous production/engineering experience is an advantage you don’t need to have operated machinery before; what matters most is your willingness to learn, practical and technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to work safely and accurately in a production environment.
Working Monday to Friday, the ability to do a day shift (half day Friday) and 6am—2pm/2pm-10pm pattern is also important.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Operating and monitoring production machinery following instructions and daily schedules
* Setting and adjusting machine parameters as required (training provided)
* Inspecting products to ensure they meet quality standards
* Maintaining accurate production and quality records
* Handling raw materials and finished product inventories
* Keeping workstation safe, clean, and organised
* Following Health & Safety and Quality procedures at all times
* Supporting team members and sharing knowledge as you develop
* Participating in continuous improvement initiatives

Salary is £28-33K p/a dependent on experience, with excellent benefits including 23 days holiday plus BH, quarterly bonus scheme, long term service award, pension and dental scheme.
