Position Summary
The Dispensary Associate is responsible for guiding a customer on their journey into cannabis by educating them on the benefits and potential side effects, providing excellent customer service, and facilitating a customer's purchase per State regulations while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.
* Show empathy and compassion to patients.
* Deliver the TruExperience through elevated patient service standards, behaviors, and product knowledge.
* Assist Managers and Shift Supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
* Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner.
* Follow Trulieve Policies and Procedures.
* Work directly with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
* Assist customers with any product or device issues.
* Collaborate with leadership and management to resolve customer issues.
* Document customer issues and concerns in the customer profile.
* Maintain a clean and well‑stocked workstation throughout the shift.
* Perform additional tasks as assigned by Management.
Additional Responsibilities – Delivery Associate (As Needed)
* Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a clear driving record to fulfill delivery driver duties.
* Follow all Trulieve Policies and Procedures as a delivery associate.
Additional Responsibilities – Online Support (As Needed)
* Assist with processing all online orders, including deliveries, within a 2‑hour timeframe.
Skills and Qualifications
* High‑school diploma or equivalent and experience in a similar field.
* Minimum age of 21 (or 18 in CT, PA, and WV).
* Prior retail or customer‑service experience a plus.
* Experience with cash handling.
* Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with diverse personalities.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication.
* Ability to work effectively without supervision and in a team setting.
* Professionalism, business sense, and confidentiality at all levels.
* Ability to understand and follow written or oral instructions.
* Respectful and polite interaction with customers and team members.
* Conversational English proficiency; operational ability with computers, laptops, and telecommunication devices.
* Physical and mental capacity to perform job duties.
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (for Delivery Driver role).
* Pass a comprehensive background record check.
Additional Requirements
* Move intermittently throughout the workday.
* Use prosthetics that enable adequate vision, hearing, or other senses.
* Function independently with flexibility, integrity, and the ability to work with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
* Interact with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and occasionally hostile individuals.
Physical Requirements
* Constantly move or traverse throughout the facility, including confined spaces.
* Manipulate objects up to 50 lbs and perform tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying.
* Ascend/descend stools, ladders, and stairs; position yourself at floor level (crouch, stoop, kneel, or crawl).
* Occasionally remain seated.
Work Schedule
* Flexible hours to meet store needs; available evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Up to 40 hours per week with availability for “after‑hours” as needed.
