Grade 5: £31,459 - £36,616 per annum including the Oxford University Weighting of £1,500 per annum. Permanent, full time (36.5 hours per week).
Saïd Business School is seeking a highly organised and proactive Academic Events Coordinator to join our Academic Events Team, part of Faculty Services. This team supports faculty in delivering a wide range of research-driven events, from weekly seminars and subject-specific workshops to large-scale academic conferences and recruitment events.
Key responsibilities
* Coordinate and deliver seminars, research camps and other faculty-led events.
* Manage logistics including registrations, travel, catering and event materials.
* Maintain accurate databases of speakers and participants, and produce reports and evaluations.
* Support marketing and promotion of events in collaboration with internal teams.
* Monitor event budgets, process financial administration and maintain accurate records.
Role requirements / Qualifications
You will have proven experience in organising and coordinating events, excellent project and time-management skills and a sharp eye for detail. Highly organised, self-motivated and proactive, you will bring strong communication skills, a confident and professional manner and a customer-focused approach.
