Head of Maintenance - Care Home
Location - Launceston, Cornwall, PL15 9HP
Hours - Full-time 40 hours per week, permanent - Days
Wage - 16.26 per hour
About the Role
As Head of Maintenance, you will ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for our residents and staff. This varied role spans building maintenance, gardening, and groundskeepingmeaning you could be fixing a leaky tap one minute and planting bulbs the next.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day property, garden, and grounds maintenance.
Lead a small team and work independently when needed.
Support the General Manager with annual budget planning.
Liaise with external contractors for specialized projects.
Responsible for reporting and documenting H&S checks, Pat testing, fire alarms, flushing systems and Legionella Testing
About You

Requirements:
Hands-on property maintenance experience with at least one core trade skill.
Reliable, flexible with working hours, and IT literate.
A full UK driving licence (desirable)
