Policy & Engagement Manager for EMERGE RehabTech
Salary- £39,- £44, per annum (pro rata)
Part time- 18.5 hours per week/ fixed term contract until 31 May
About the Role
You will support the delivery of the EMERGE RehabTech programme by fostering relationships with key regional stakeholders and leading on developing an advocacy strategy that positions EMERGE to deliver policy impact.
EMERGE RehabTech is a Place Based Impact Accelerator Account (PBIAA) funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), which aims to accelerate adoption of new rehabilitation technologies (rehabtech) emerging from university research into health and care pathways. This will drive regional economic growth, transform health outcomes and tackle health inequalities in the region.
Alongside other regional initiatives and significant investments, such the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre for Rehabilitation (RehabHRC) and the new National Rehabilitation Centre, our vision for EMERGE is to establish the foundations of a ‘rehabtech valley’ in the East Midlands that capitalises on a flourishing research and innovation ecosystem and existing world-class facilities and infrastructure.
Working closely with the PBIAA Project Manager, you will primarily be responsible for engaging with our existing partners and developing new relationships that can underpin a clear and ambitious strategy for advocacy and engagement. In addition, you will provide operational support to our team in delivering a range of project activities, including funding calls and events, and collating and maintaining data to monitor and evaluate the programme.
For more details, please take a look at the role profile. We will still consider applications even if you don't meet every single one of the requirements, so don't be put off if you don't match them perfectly. To ensure the diverse needs of our team are met we actively encourage secondments and offer flexible part-time working patterns - we're focused on finding the right person for the role.
Interview date: w/c 22nd June or w/c 29th June
