This position is both strategic and operational - requiring not only a strong understanding of compliance frameworks, but also a proactive, client-facing approach.In addition, you will play a key role in identifying and securing new compliance consultancy opportunities - contributing to the business development and growth of the company.Key Responsibilities
* Compliance & Consultancy
* Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and systems
* Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance issues
* Advise clients on regulatory obligations and best practices
* Oversee ISO implementation and renewals (9001, 14001, 27001, and 45001)
* Deliver training sessions and develop supporting documentation for internal staff and clients
* Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely updates across the business
* Draft comprehensive compliance reports for internal and client use
* Liaise with regulatory bodies as required.
Client Engagement
* Conduct regular client visits to assess compliance levels and provide tailored consultancy
* Build and maintain long-term client relationships through trust, responsiveness, and service excellence
* Handle client matters with sensitivity, professionalism, and discretion.
Business Development
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the compliance space
* Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations to potential clients
* Attend networking events and industry conferences to promote services
* Collaborate with the management team on growth strategy and market positioning.
Requirements
* Proven experience in compliance management or consultancy
* Excellent knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks and standards
* ISO lead auditor qualifications (9001, 14001, 27001, and 45001)
* Experience with ISO frameworks and quality assurance systems
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills—confident in a client-facing role
* Commercial acumen and enthusiasm for business development
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
