Temp All Staffing are currently recruiting a Children’s Residential Home Manager on behalf of our client. Our client has a collection of homes throughout the region and are currently recruiting for one of their specialist therapeutic homes supporting children in Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex. The successful candidate will be patient and caring and able to provide a quality service to their users within a residential home environment whilst enabling them to lead an active and independent life. As the Home Manager you will lead and inspire a team of staff, maintain the smooth running of the home, coordinating and supervising staff and to facilitate the upkeep of high standards.

Job Role
5. Oversee day to day operations of the home
6. Implement clear and effective procedures
7. Responsibility for staff performance, training and support
8. Provide guidance to ensure all the staff team support children in line with children and young people’s care plans and to ensure young person’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural needs are met.
9. Ensure the homes policies and procedures are in line with relevant legislation and the

Education Qualification and Skills
11. Sound knowledge of the legislative framework relating to children’s residential homes
12. At least two years’ experience managing a children’s residential home
13. Hold a Level 4 management qualification relevant to children’s residential care or willing to work towards a Level 5 relevant qualification.
14. Financial expertise to ensure the financial viability of the home
15. Full UK drivers license with access to own vehicle
