Job Overview
Your role involves working with distributed teams to deliver customer satisfaction, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring releases are delivered on time and within budget. This position requires solid knowledge of the finance industry and experience delivering SaaS or FinTech projects.
Responsibilities
* Definition and management of project initiation tasks such as project mandate, resource planning, kick‑off meetings, delivery planning, and communication plans.
* Working with the Service Delivery Manager to meet support agreements and maintain service standards.
* Expanding understanding of the finance industry and products to align with customer goals.
* Controlling and monitoring timelines, resource allocation, dependencies, budgets, costs, and deliverable quality.
* Line management of Business Analysts, setting objectives and reviewing performance when appropriate.
* Compliance with project delivery governance (change management, risk & issue management, financial reporting, status reporting).
* Leading stakeholder interactions, such as steering group meetings.
* Daily collaboration with delivery teams to ensure tasks are on track.
* Liaising with third parties to track and deliver external tasks on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
* Managing escalations, risks, and issues.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable track record as a Project Manager in software delivery, responsible for budgets up to £2 million.
* At least 3 years of experience using a recognised project management methodology.
* Comfortable delivering projects to external clients, managing internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience delivering projects with multidisciplinary teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
* Willingness to work away from home and travel to client sites when required.
* Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel.
* Previous experience with financial services or asset finance firms is advantageous.
* Experience with high AOV FinTech solutions is desirable.
