An experienced Quantity Surveyor Cost Manager is needed to work on various projects based from Maidenhead, Berkshire.
In particular, an experienced cost management professional is needed with a minimum of 5 years’ experience with experience of working on large scale commercial fit out and construction projects.
The right candidate will have 2 years post-qualification / post chartership experience and have knowledge and experience of working in the commercial sector and understand the challenges of delivering commercial schemes.
You will report to a Director, work as part of a wider team as well as working with the project delivery design team and client organisation.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Assisting the delivery of entire fit out and construction projects
* Helping to develop cost management strategy and its delivery.
* Producing cost plans and costs reports.
* Manage Risk processes and Value Management.
* Tracking and documenting changes.
* Preparing formal project progress reports.
* Liaising with the client, contractors and designers.
* Attending and chairing meetings.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Possess a strong track record of delivering projects.
* Have experience of working with design teams.
* Have experience of working within an Inter-disciplinary organisation.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
* Must be professionally qualified in Quantity Surveying – MRICS.
