The phlebotomy home visiting team is a city wide service providing phlebotomy and other observations to patients who are housebound and unable to visit their GP practice .The service is provided across the city of Bradford.
We have a vacancy for a Band 2 health care support worker to come and join the team.
The team use electronic records to access and input information and having skills in using computer systems would be an advantage although training will be provided in the current health system in use.

Extensive regular travel across the district is a requirement of the role in order to successfully undertake the range of duties specified within the job description. Therefore, it is an essential that applicants have the ability to travel regularly across the district to meet the needs and demands of the service.
To provide generic care and planned interventions to the patients within Adult Community Services, predominantly requiring phlebotomy, either planned or urgent to aid the prevention of avoidable hospital admissions.
? Under the supervision of registered health care professionals assist the healthcare team with the provision of clinical care for a defined group of patients.

As a condition of continuous employment, it essential you maintain the legal right to work in the United Kingdom throughout the duration of your employment with Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust (BDCFT). Any change in your right-to-work status, including but not limited to visa expiration, revocation, or denial of renewal, may impact your eligibility for employment with the Trust. It is your responsibility to promptly inform your Line Manager of any changes in your right-to-work status immediately and to provide necessary documentation for verification purposes. Failure to obtain or renew your visa in a timely manner is a breach of employment conditions and will result in termination of your employment.
