The role involves working within the community as an autonomous practitioner within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining good relationships to ensure women receive safe care. You will provide high-quality women-centered maternity care, offer effective leadership, support teaching opportunities, and support staff at all levels.
You will educate women and their families, provide care, advice, supervision throughout pregnancy, and facilitate appropriate referrals to other agencies and specialist teams when needed.

* The Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI)
* Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal
* Community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre
We operate from three main hospitals, all equipped with comprehensive services including Emergency Departments and specialist units.
