Overview
We\'re seeking a compassionate and highly organised Administrative Assistant to support the Coroners service at Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council. This is a vital front-facing role, requiring sensitivity, professionalism, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
* Answer and field telephone calls and emails with professionalism and care
* Provide accurate information and refer queries appropriately
* Maintain records and support general administrative duties
* Uphold high standards of customer service at all times
* Be the first point of contact for bereaved families, Funeral Directors, Hospitals, and other stakeholders; handle calls and emails with empathy and efficiency
Qualifications
* Compassionate and highly organised with strong administrative and telephone skills
* Ability to listen sensitively and respond appropriately
* Skilled in managing conflicting priorities and time effectively
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Confident using IT systems and handling confidential data
* Proven commitment to excellent customer service
