Role Description
Westec Engineering Ltd is seeking both an Apprentice Electrical Engineer and a Senior Electrical Engineer for full‑time, on‑site roles in Bournemouth. The Apprentice Electrical Engineer will assist in design, documentation, and calculations under the guidance of senior team members, while learning industry standards and best practices. The Senior Electrical Engineer will focus on leading electrical design projects, building client relationships, and mentoring junior staff. Required background in building services with a minimum of 3/4 years experience and a background running small teams and projects with client interaction. Both roles will involve collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive engineering solutions for clients.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering practices
* Understanding of Power Distribution and building services
* Proficiency with Electricity fundamentals and related technical concepts
* Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
* Proven experience in leading projects and mentoring team members
* Degree or qualification in Electrical Engineering (for Senior role) or relevant education in engineering or electrical studies (for Apprentice role)
* For Apprentice Electrical Engineer role: Willingness to learn and develop technical skills under guidance with a drive and ambition to develop
