The opportunity

Naylor Love is seeking a dynamic Design and Construct Manager to lead our national Design and Construct (D&C) portfolio and drive excellence across our pre-construction operations. This role will be the heart of our pre-construction strategy, guiding a talented team of design managers, cost planners, and technical specialists. You will work closely with regional teams, clients, consultants, and industry partners to deliver smart, sustainable, and high-performing projects. From feasibility planning to final delivery, you'll be the driving force behind our design and construct success.

You'll bring deep knowledge of commercial construction, a sharp eye for design, and the ability to lead with purpose and integrity. The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:
1. Tertiary qualification such as a Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Construction or similar (essential)
2. Fifteen plus years experience working for a Main Contractor in Commercial Construction (preferred)
3. A proven track record of successful delivery in commercial construction, design and project management roles in a Main Contractor environment (essential)
4. Strong pre-construction expertise in a Main Contractor environment
5. Excellent leadership capability and expertise to develop future talent
6. Outstanding Business Development capability and network
7. Strong commercial acumen and risk assessment skills
8. Stakeholder management and relationship building capability
