Hays are supporting a large business in the South Wales region to recruit a new permanent Technical Service Delivery Manager. The role is hybrid 2/3 days per week on site and paying up to c70k + bonus. You'll also receive an extremely competitive pension, life assurance and annual pay reviews.
This new role will act as the key liaison between our team, Support Partners, and the wider business. This role involves representing Technical Operations in forums such as Technical and Change Approval Boards, Problem Forums, and other ITIL-related activities.
In the role you will:
* Ensure smooth IT operations and compliance with standards.
* Proactively manage technical issues, risks, and incidents.
* Support secure solution delivery and cybersecurity efforts.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers on changes and projects.
* Maintain system documentation and drive service improvements.
* Lead and develop a small technical team.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
1. ITIL Knowledge: Experienced in Incident, Change, Capacity, and Problem Management.
2. Technical Expertise: Skilled in Windows, Linux/Unix, VMware, Azure, and networking fundamentals.
3. Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills for resolving complex technical issues with minimal disruption.
