Role Overview
Location: Aldermaston, Berkshire, RG7
Salary: £40,000 + Onsite Allowances (total package c£43,000). Overtime available: Mon‑Fri flat rate, Sat/Sun/BHs 1.5×, £125 per week on rota basis.
Hours: Week 1: Monday to Friday 07:45 – 16:30 (16:15 finish Friday). Week 2: Monday to Thursday 07:45 – 16:30. Enjoy every other Friday off work (PAID).

Role Overview
As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will perform all planned and unplanned mechanical engineering activities related to maintaining an efficient contract and supporting client sites.
* Ensure all Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance is completed to schedule and documentation is submitted timely.
* Perform rectification of defects, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
* Carry out routine maintenance work for all mechanical systems.
* Supervise specialist contractors and ensure certification/documentation is completed per client and EMCOR requirements.
* Liaise with and respond to the Helpdesk, ensuring urgent maintenance tasks are responded to within appropriate timescales.
* Ensure good housekeeping and working practices are employed and represent EMCOR professionally at all times.
* Keep technical training and development up to date.

About the role
What you will need:
* This position requires a minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in relevant job specific discipline.
* Proven experience within a building services environment.
* Knowledge of PSSR 2000/Confined Space, Legionella, and Permit to Work systems is desirable but not.
* Good all‑round knowledge of Facility Management and Building Service Engineering.
* The ability to establish, implement and monitor high standards of excellence in quality, safety and operational performance.
